It’s been a wonderful news. My video presentation was accepted at the SIU (Société Internationale d’Urologie) meeting and the SIU pre-congress workshop in Lisbon, Portugal. I’m very excited to be at the meeting, because it will be an honour and pleasure to present the work that we do here in Samarinda, to the world. Therefore I will not be available at the clinic from 6 to 30 October 2017. Wish me luck 😇
Urofiesta is an annual meeting held by the East Java branch of Indonesian Urological Association (IAUI). Various workshops and symposia , for urologists, general practitioners and nurses. This year, urofiesta held workshops for urologist on PCNL and Microsoft surgery.
The first day, i attended the microsurgery workshop. It was fun, many new things.

During the lunch break, i was invited to give a small lecture and webminar on Santika hotel. This webminar was provided by GlaxoSmithKline. I have a small lecture about the current management choices in BPH. The discussion was interesting, and the questions cake from all over Indonesia
On the last day i was asked to present my work on female urethral Sling for stress Urinary Incontinence (SUI). In Samarinda we routinely performed female urethral Sling. And the outcome was presented.
It was amazing, with the young urologist from Surabaya.
Earlier this afternoon i got a chance to share some insight on BPH treatment through the webminar held by GlaxoSmithKline. It was transmitted from Santika hotel, Surabaya. The webminar was attended by many medical doctors from all over Indonesia. It was fun, the interactive section was incredible:) i hope i will have more opportunities like this to help spread the content of ‘shared care in BPH treatment in Indonesia’.
The Surabaya chapter of Indonesian Urological Association will organize it’s 34th annual meeting, Fiesta Urology, on 29-30 July 2017. It is always been an honour for me to be invited to share the experiences from my hometown Samarinda . There was always a ‘chill’ feeling everytime I share something in my almamater. In this conference I will share our experience on Sling usage for female pelvic organ prolapse.
Let’s hope it is going to be an enjoyable event. See you there… 🙂

Well, I’m very excited about the next event, Malang Continuing Urology Education 2017. A beautiful city, Malang, East Java, Indonesia. The event will be held on 8-11 March 2017. There, I will share some knowledge on penile paraffinoma. If you take a good look, the list of faculty is AMAZING. Basically there will be speakers from all over the world. The Retrograde Intrarenal Surgery (RIRS) workshop was held in Samarinda, 27-28 February 2017. The participants came from Surabaya, Purwokerto and Jombang. I hope the participants and patients will benefit from this workshop . See you on the next workshop guys 🙂
